Who we are

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Qualica Technologies is an international provider of optimised network and application services and solutions. Qualica develops specialist Internet applications that deliver measurable business value to blue-chip clients in diverse industries. These services are underpinned by our 'support and operate' model. The company was founded in 1999 and is privately held. Its talented staff can draw on years of experience in Internet protocol infrastructure and applications-experience forged since the Internet established itself as a business tool. Qualica is particularly proud of the longstanding relationships it has built up with our clients.

What we do

Qualica's business is focused on providing clients with solutions that leverage the power of the Internet. We design and implement Internet protocol networks; and develop and implement innovative software that runs on the Internet. Our objective is to enable our clients to use the power of distributed computing to serve their customers in new ways, of course, with the aim of gaining long-lasting competitive advantage.

Because we understand how the underlying Internet protocol-based technologies work, we are able to design software that is optimised to run on them-and are well positioned to resolve issues even before they have arisen. In the vast majority of cases, we deliver these applications to our clients as a service, so clients avoid the need for capital expenditure and specialised IT staff. Often, for the solution to work in the way the customer wants, a 'support and operate' model is needed.

These services require specialist expertise to be delivered as an end-to-end solution-and Qualica provides this. Our competance extends from hardware and third party software procurement, to vendor management, hosting, back up, disaster recovery and other related elements of a holistic supported solution.
