Airline Solutions

Benefits

Channel partner program and incentive management module
A built-in partner portal offers diferentiated customer pricing based on business rules to travel agents and corporate clients. New sales channels can be explored through third-party integration, with partners able to co-brand the booking engine.

Solution architecture
The architecture ensures that business requirements are scaled for high volumes. The airline reservation system supports standard enterprise-grade hardware and networks. This translates into a modest infrastructure investment. The solution supports horizontally scaled infrastructure allowing additional capacity to be delivered on an elastic infrastructure basis, achieving redundancy and on demand scalability. Full disaster recovery with off-site data replication is also supported in the architecture.

Service orientated architecture (SOA)
This architecture enables the core system functionality to be decoupled from both public and third party user interfaces. This allows airlines to customise their public-facing booking engines to meet their brand and functionality objectives. Industry-standard SOAP web service allows for rapid third party integration.

Rich user interface (RIA)

The solution has two standard public user interface templates providing either HTML and/or Flash. Qualica's subsidiary, Airflow Interactive develops custom interfaces according to airline needs.

Management reports
The solution includes a rich set of management reports that provide an accurate, real time view of business performance.

Administration
Revenue managers are able to make real time adjustments to inventory on a per-flight basis to maximise revenue and to respond quickly to market conditions. A flexible permissions model enables access control to system functions on both an individual and/or role-based basis. Functionality includes airport configuration, seating plans, flight leg configuration (including milk-run and multi-sector configuration), taxes, levies, anciliary revenue, revenue yield management, inventory management, audit trails, special pax notes, blacklisting pax, notifications and alerts.

Departure Control

The system is certified by SITA, the international standards body for telecommunications in aviation. It is developed on a client/server model to facilitate a full graphical user interface which reduces staff training requirements and increases throughput at check-in and boarding gates. This includes Advanced Passenger Processing (APP). The system generates manifests and all other related flight information.

The self-service check-in kiosk (CUSS)

The system supports CUSS integration allowing passengers to check themselves in rather than going to check-in counters.
