A gateway server is set up at each branch, running the EBM software. Each gateway connects to one or more ADSL modems for Internet connectivity, as well as to an internal network where end-users are situated. Wireless access points can be connected to the gateway for mobile users. A Gateway Management Portal resides on a central management server and provides a rich Web-based interface delivering sophisticated management features to IT management across a network of configured gateways. In this way, we deliver the benefits of a wide-area network along with comprehensive management features, without compromising on performance or security.

Qualica's EBM is delivered via an 'Infrastructure as a Service' (IaaS) model.  This delivery model ensures that our customers enjoy the benefits of this sophisticated, highly-technical service without having to employ dedicated highly skilled internal resources. EBM is managed and monitored by the Qualica service delivery centre.
