Network throughput and availability testing tools launched

Optimised network and application services and solutions company, Qualica Technologies, has launched two new tools to evaluate network performance.
One is a throughput and latency tool which tests network performance and availability by measuring throughput and network response times at set intervals. The second – a high availability tool – gives users a view of whether their website is up or down at very short intervals.

Both new applications are available as stand-alone services, or as add-ons to Qualica’s acclaimed User Experience Management (UEM) solution.

According to Allen Brown, (title) at Qualica, the new tools provide invaluable metrics to service providers and corporates when assessing current network infrastructure, planning enhancements or designing new networks.

The high availability tool is ideal for organisations where availability is critical to their business model.

An extremely affordable solution, it leverages Qualica UEM’s alerting and notification capabilities to let users know when their site is down, allowing incident response teams and other mission critical support teams to immediately be alerted to site failures.

“This is also a powerful service level agreement management tool,” Brown concludes.
