Qualica Airline Solutions is Qualica Technologies' response to the airline industry's need for flexible, reliable and cost-effective IT infrastructure. It combines Internet-driven technology, robust relational database management system software, and commodity server hardware to deliver a high-performance, scalable, and flexible solution.

A major success factor for leading airlines is strict cost control, especially in operations, technology and marketing. Well-targeted marketing efforts are important. Possibly the most important ingredient in the success of the agile airline is a flexible, and fast revenue management component. Management of revenue on a per-flight basis is critical and must be available for revenue managers to-quickly and accurately-"tune" the yield of any flight.

Flexible inventory management options allow operators to maximise revenue and react quickly to changing market conditions. The Qualica system is easily configured to match both the operator's business policies and the markets or destinations serviced.

Qualica Airline Solutons have been engineered to meet the expectations of a growing market, and allows operators to offer differentiated pricing and user experience to their customer bases. Reporting is important to both the low-cost operator and its customers.

The solutions have been successfully deployed for 1Time Airline (http://www.1time.aero), where it is the backbone of the sales and revenue management parts of the company. It provides a stable system that has maintained good performance at booking levels of up to five times normal loads; up to 20 bookings per second can be completed on a medium-sized installation. Additional functionality includes Web Services to allow third party access into the backend, corporate bookings, an SMS service to keep customers informed and financial, marketing and operational reporting and eCheck-in, which allows customers who make same-day return trips, and are only carrying hand luggage, to check in and book their outward- and homeward-bound seats online.
